So you adopted a hatchling, and its all adorable and cute, but its growing up and needs a little education in between the crafting and the hunting. There are a few dragons on the order side who in essence, will accept students for their lessons. Think of it as sending the kids to school.
In this I would like to note the known teachers, what they generally teach, and whether they are accepting new students or not. And better yet, I will go to each teacher to get more info straight from them.
Each teacher will be asked the following:
1. Tell me a little about yourself as a teacher, such as your personality, why you teach, or anything you would think important here.
2. Do you teach dragons only (would you accept a biped under your instruction if they came)?
3. What do you expect of your students?
4. Do you have any entry trials, tests or exams for a hatchling to be enrolled?
5. What field is your expertise of teaching?
6. Do you have any additional comments that you feel are important?
Their status will be noted, whether they have retired from teaching, are not currently accepting a student, or are available.
This is still under construction and may be for a few days, but keep checking back. Likewise, I also feel it would be fair to ask the bipeds if they do 'schools' for themselves.

1. Tell me a little about yourself as a teacher, such as your personality, why you teach, or anything you would think important here.
"I am one of the eldest of the teachers of our race, next to the trainers who taught me. I've a long history of being a teacher, but some have questioned my traditional methods of teaching before - primarily in my shamelessness when it comes to the perfection of dragon form. I teach because I worry that no others will, and that our culture will be lost without teachers to remind us of what we are."
2. Do you teach dragons only (would you accept a biped under your instruction if they came)?
"I used to teach bipeds as well, but I no longer do. I've given up some Helian sensibility to focus on our failing race."
3. What do you expect of your students?
"Total honesty, obedience, and adherance to the traditions. My lessons require a great deal of trust between myself and my students."
4. Do you have any entry trials, tests or exams for a hatchling to be enrolled?
"When I was still teaching actively, I had little requirements of the sort - I spent my days in New Trismus, asking hatchlings to take heed of my words. In terms of actual students, I judge their level of dragon virtues informally - and then decide whether or not to actually include them in my life. Sometimes, however, I also work with the worst of them..."
5. What field is your expertise of teaching?
"My given and trained role in dragon society is Historian - I keep the lore and culture of our race and those are my strongest points. I am also a strong user of both prime and tooth and claw. I also have advanced study in Istarian Runic, but Star Runes I will not teach - Star Knowledge should not be spread if it can be helped, to maintain the purity of our race, and the lack of discretion of - discretion on the part of others has proven this."
6. Do you have any additional comments that you feel are important?
"While I share wisdom freely, actual pupils under my tutelage are rare, especially these days. To be actually taught by me is a great honor, at least to most eyes, and it is never to be taken lightly."
Maekrux is currently not accepting new students, but may in the future.

1. Tell me a little about yourself as a teacher, such as your personality, why you teach, or anything you would think important here.
"I offer a word of caution to those who would seek my guidance. My lessons cover every shade of gray. I believe that to understand the world, you must understand every facet of it: light, dark, and every shadow found between. I teach this because too often fear and hate are the primary defenses against that which we don't fully comprehend. Trust is important, just as it is in every teacher-student relationship."
2. Do you teach dragons only (would you accept a biped under your instruction if they came)?
"I am afraid that bipeds will never be counted among my students."
3. What do you expect of your students?
"I expect my students to take my lessons as guidelines. I expect them to keep an open mind while maintaining a mature point of view about the things I teach them. It is perfectly fine to disagree with what I have to impart upon them and I welcome an intellectual argument from time to time. In the end, my classes are simply practiced advice. Whether they choose to follow and learn from what I have to share, is their own decision."
4. Do you have any entry trials, tests or exams for a hatchling to be enrolled?
"In a sense, I do. It's a small series of interviews that vary from dragon to dragon. Depending on their answers and actions, I accept them. If I reject them the first time, I'm open to second, third, or fourth attempts in most cases."
5. What field is your expertise of teaching?
"My lessons cover anything and everything that a dragon might wish to know of. If our discussions meander across something I am unsure of, we take the steps together to find the answer to our query."
5. Do you have any additional comments that you feel are important?
"I believe everything that needs to be said has been stated already. Beyond that, I send my greetings to any future students."
Hraefn is currently accepting new students.
Special sidenote: In another post Hraefn has stated that she hand picks her students and is not open about being a teacher, IC.
